How Did The Concept Of Focus Healing Begin? |
Regina Wards journey in developing Focus Healing programs began with a patient who suffered from severe back pain. This patient frequently cried out that the narcotic injections he received, every four hours, were not relieving his pain. Sympathetic to the patients suffering, Regina took a few minutes to comfort him with a relaxing visualization technique. A technique that she briefly learned, in college, while studying to be a nurse. Success! The patient was pain-free...but
only while she spoke. Regina found this to be extremely intriguing.
Regina also watched a very energetic and cheerful patients response when her doctor came into the room and bluntly announced that she had six months to live. Regina watched as life drained from this patient who had been so full of life. Before receiving this six-month death sentence, this bubbly woman, was very active and frequently ran around the hospital unit entertaining and speaking to everyone. This once energetic woman died within a week after receiving the news from her doctor.
After Regina observed the quick deterioration of this womans condition due to the words that she heard while also witnessing how words comforted a mans pain when narcotics were ineffective, made a huge impact on her. Observing the power of words and thoughts lead Regina to further learn about the powers of the mind. After extensive studying, Regina developed her Focus Healing programs.

As a registered nurse, Regina also recognizes the importance of medical information being translated into terms that patients and their caregivers can understand. While working in the hospital, Regina often found herself answering the patient's questions, after the doctor had left, because they did not understand the medical terminology used. She also recognized the negative impact that stress was having on the mind and body of these patients and their caretakers. Since stress frequently is the precursor to many diseases; Regina ends all of her programs with a relaxing visualization. She recognizes the brilliant therapies provided by traditional medicine and views Focus Healing as a compliment to the services provided by traditional medicine.
Regina treasures the heartwarming responses she gets from her audiences after each presentation. She also cherishes the beautiful comments she hears from the people who use her CD programs.

Regina Ward is very precise but also exceptionally interesting in her comments and explanations about each and every point that covers the program. She is most knowledgeable about what she is teaching us. All that I have learned is very important and beneficial to me personally. It is helping me to live a far better life and has been helping me to cope with my problems. - Mrs. Betty Elia
